Meet Aether, a talisman straight out of a magical girl story

Ok, I made that up. Wearing this ring won't transform you for real, no matter what power up chant you try. It's a 5mm sunflower style ring from Cecile Raley Designs, which sourced all the saturated gems--untreated purple sapphire from Ceylon, untreated pink sapphires from Vietnam, untreated cobalt spinels from Vietnam. The colors are so neon, they are more neon to the eye than even a paraiba! (It's just that my phone camera loves the paraiba more.) What really gets me about this ring is that whereas paraibas are neon and glowy, the gems in Aether are are neon and SPARKLY.

Last two photos are at night in low light, and the gems in the halo are glowing faintly.

Oh no, that is really too colorful, even for me! My sweet spot is 3-4 different colors (in the same piece), that's it. No rainbow pieces for me.

I even like the DauphineMucha screenshot -- precisely because it's all pastels (similar tones) and, like yours, not a self-consciously ordered rainbow.
