Named after Ireland’s largest body of water, “Neaugh” (pronounced “Neh”/lNay”) is my “forever” diamond.
DH proposed (again) on 2/25/2025 with this AMAZING lab created Emerald Cut Diamond.
This is the upgrade of my dreams!

The GIA certificate is attached below.
4.00ct
D Color
VS1 Clarity (100% eye clean)
Excellent Polish
Excellent Symmetry
This Diamond has meaning for us within its very dimensions!
11.19 x 7.38 x 4.93
Our Wedding date is 11/27 (11.19 rounded up is 11.20).

I was 38 when we started dating, we were together for 3 years before we married, we have been married for 8 years (9 years in November), we graduated high school together in 1993. My birthday is 1/1, his is 2/14.
The 4ct represent 1 carat for every decade we have known each other; we were just kids when we first met.

The length to width ratio is 1.52:1.DH is 51, and his favorite numbers are 15 & 25 (Basketball & Football jersey numbers).
He made reservations at the restaurant where we had our wedding reception (different location; ours closed) to surprise me. He chose 2/25/25 as this would be the only time in our lives when we would ever see 2/25/25 on the calendar ever again.
When we pulled into the parking lot, I cried. He just KNOWS!! We sat in the car, and he reached for something, and it was a ring box. He opened it with a grin, and I DIED!!

We had been researching and on the journey for this stone for a few months. Initially, I was estimating a 3.5ct+. Finding the exact dimensions to represent our Wedding Date was extremely challenging. It was evident, we needed to increase the search into the 4ct range. THIS diamond checked all the boxes and so much more!
I. Am. In. Love.

Those who know me understand I am extremely sentimental. So is DH. I would have created this thread sooner, but I have been struggling to find a name that suits this magnificent diamond, and compliments her size and characteristics. DH & I agreed on her name this morning.

To have a diamond upgrade of this magnitude had been a dream I never thought possible. The Lab Created market changed that for us, and made this girl’s dream come true.
Not only is it above and beyond what I ever dreamed in size, color, clarity, and performance, but it embodies our entire story.
I couldn’t ask for more; I am truly blessed to be married to the most amazing “Diamond in the rough”.
Without further ado, attached are some of “Neaugh’s” shining moments….

Congratulations on celebrating everything that is your friendship, partnership and marriage. I think it's fate to have found something with so much meaning behind it! You guys are definitely into numerology for sure hehe.. I love this so much for you and maybe some of our husbands can take a leaf out of your husband's book. The ring looks fabulous on you and what a magical night it must have been!

Thank you!!
It certainly was magical!!! He’s one of a kind, and I love how he just knows how to speak to my heart!
I have no idea what I did to deserve him, but I definitely lucked out! I am so grateful for him, and all he does for all of us.
I will share more pics and vids upon request; I have TONS! :lol-2:

Absolutely stunning and huuuuge!!

I love the story behind it. Your hubby sounds like an absolute gem, and you, lady, are gorgeous - you have the most glorious eyes!!

You are too kind!!
Thank you for making this 50 year old broad feel 25! :lol-2:
He is definitely one of a kind.
As you can imagine, it’s taken some time to adjust to the size difference.
Uisce remains with me….as a pendant. I wear them both every day, now. ♥️

Awwww i love this!

♥️
Worth the wait, and the journey to find this stone. It’s as if it was created just for us!
I did a lot of calculating with dimensions to confirm they would visually work together in order for the stone to not only fit the size range, but perform to its greatest potential.
I was nervous about having to move up into the 4ct range, as nothing between 3.50-3.59ct hit the 11mm mark. I have long fingers, but my hands are small, and the space between my knuckles is limited. The last thing I wanted was for it to be so large that it didn’t compliment my hand, or that it looked fake.
I am thrilled with this stone, and the dimensions couldn’t be more perfect! ♥️

Beautiful! I'm so happy for you. Emerald cut diamonds are so elegant and yours is so icy white and perfect. The sweet sentiment of your DH proposing again is chef's kiss.

Thank you.
I agree it’s icy white. What intrigues me is how clear and bright she is at every angle.
There’s a VS1 clarity grade for a reason, but for the life of me, I can’t find a single inclusion; not even when it was unset and under magnification.
She’s a true unicorn find, and I could not be happier to have her, or the man who put her on my finger. ♥️

Awesome ring!!!! Awesome person!!!! kicken diamond!!! and Awesome love story!!!!
Congrats!!!!

Such a splendid compliment from such a knowledgeable and sincerely amazing person! I am beaming, right now!!
I’m so happy to be among such sweet and positive folks!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop at my thread and leave a touch of love and kindness!
You are a true gem, @Karl_K! ♥️

What a beautiful ring!! I love it, congratulations on your anniversary! I love that you reconnected years after high school and found love!

Thank you! ♥️
I have found my happily ever after! :kiss2:
I wish this happiness for everyone!

Some perspective shots!
Please excuse my nails; we’ve been renovating and my hands have taken a beating! We got a brand new ceiling light fixture and “Neaugh” loves to “dance” in the light!! :kiss2:
The mug was my Mother’s (her favorite tea mug, actually), and I think it’s quite appropriate for the occasion: Dream. Believe. Achieve. ♥️

It's so beautiful!

It's so beautiful!

Thank you so much!! I am really enjoying capturing every angle and aspect of her!! I will admit, I’m OBSESSED! :lol-2:
We started renovations in our home last week, and since then, I have only been able enjoy her during fleeting moments at work, and in the evenings before bed, as we have been working every late afternoon into the evenings on the house. Today, I woke up early to brew coffee and have some “Neaugh” time. :cool2:

We have been renovating, and remodeling.
The progress has been moving steady over the past 2 weeks. My nail polish is destroyed, but the living room is beautiful! Just the finishing touches left to do! You may see some of the progress in the background of these photos; I wanted to capture “Neaugh” throughout the process, as the transformation of this room has brought so much joy, and so does she!IMG_2355.jpegIMG_2399.jpegIMG_2451.jpegIMG_2453.jpegIMG_2457.jpegIMG_2464.jpegIMG_2466.jpegIMG_2475.jpegIMG_2488.jpegIMG_2489.jpeg

Lovely set. I went with two eternity bands because I figured a larger single eternity band might be too wide and the stones might be too big. I love my look, but I was concerned I was the only one to wear two eternity bands stacked together, as opposed to on either side of the solitaire, a look that doesn’t suit me. Do you have a spacer? I was so loathe to get one. But, again, the good folks at Pricescope showed me it would be a good idea to get one so I did. And it really isn’t bad. Although I’m considering soldering it to my engagement ring. That’s a whole ‘nother subject.

I do not wear a spacer, but I don’t have issues with my rings rubbing. Some do, and it’s understandable to use one.
All 3 of my rings are separate, and I have chosen not to solder them together, but I support others’ choice to do so.

To clarify, I didn’t mean solder my rings together per se. I meant just solder the spacer band to the engagement ring so that it would sit flush, because now there’s always a slight gap.

Her name definitely complements her. It’s wonderful that you were able to procure the diamond of your dreams.
