I’ve been looking at this stone to get, but the only downside I can see is that it’s got Medium flourescence.

The HCA is 0.9 and has rated well at other popular screeners as well. Should I be concerned about the possibility of milkiness with this F color but VS1? Since it’s on virtual inventory, getting UV light pics will probably be hard.

Nope, shouldn't be any issues with med fluor. Only potential concern would be strong fluor in D/E color.

I’ve been reading about potential resale value issues, but I don’t know if that’s more of a scare tactic or not.... anybody have any opinions on it?

Another question is will med fluor give off a blueish hue when under direct sunlight? I see that the strong Fluor will do so, but wondering if others have seen the same effect with med.

There’s a lot of threads on fluorescence if you search but I found this one with pictures of fluoro in the sun. I think most are SBF but there’s a couple of medium.

I think if the vendor has a good returns policy, bring the stone in and have a look in sunlight. Strong Blue Fluor can be very obvious in sunlight (tbh, I love it), but hard to say if a stone that is Medium or Faint will be as obvious, and we all have a different gauge of what's too much or non-existent. Up until recnetly, I didn't pay any attention to my F marquise's apparent GIA graded Faint Blue Flour, until this year I worked out that it's more of a white fluorescence. Now I kinda feel that there's a lovely opalescence to my stone in the sun. Not what I'd call hazy but it might bother other people. Just best to have a look for yourself.

Med blue stone on the right and none on the left.

I love fluorescence and would buy strong blue in a D or E any day as long as the cut was great! My original diamond was F and had medium fluorescence and I didn't know that for 25 years!!! I was considering resetting it and the jeweler looked at it under his lamp, and he said it had medium fluorescence! That was back when few stones came with grading certificates. So all I can say is, it's rare to even see it unless maybe under the uv lights when getting a manicure. I don't wear my rings when getting a manicure since they rub lotion all over your hands!

The stone looks gorgeous to me!
