Since most maul cut stones probably look like a .90c anyway, yes probably. A well cut 1c stone should have a diameter of 6.5mm, but how many actually have this diameter? Probably not as many as should. So your average of around 6.32mm in diameter on this stone should face up like a typical 1c to the quick observer's naked eye. Only someone who was scrutinizing the stone would maybe know the reality...but I do have to say that people's perceptions of what size stones are is WAY off regardless. I have a 1.25c that faces up like a 1.35c because its a shallower spready stone, and some people have thought that it's a 1.5c, while others thinks it's around 1c, and I even got one idiot who asked if it was 3/4 of a carat. So don't worry about it, other people have NO IDEA what size people's stones are in reality.
The stone looks good from the numbers, the crown angle is a little steep but if it scored under 2 on the HCA you should be fine, the other numbers look good.
also from www.goodoldgold.com (brokered stone, Jonathan will have to call it in for you)

that GOG stone looks like a stellar deal, esp when compared with the G 1.05 you were looking at in your other post for the same price. This stone will be exceptionally well cut, it's H&A and has a great HCA score and good #'s. If it's eye clean, it's a steal. Some food for thought.
Also that WF stone is an AGS1 but the numbers look really good, if you can get the IdealScope image from WF and see the light return, you could have another option to compare the .93c you are looking at in this post to.
Vola, a stone with the diameter you listed will absolutely appear as large as most of the 1 ct stones out there.
I especially like the ones Mara found, too.
FYI......my stone is 1.24 cts......and it's super-well cut, so it measure 6.97 x 7.00 x 4.23. I was in the mall recently killing time and went into Kay's. They had three stones in the 1.5 carat range that all bore similar measurements to my 1.24 ct. That just goes to show you how much getting a well-cut stone can make a difference!
If you get a well-cut stone in the .90-.95 range, I'd guarantee that it looks as big on the hand as the typical 1 ct. floating around.
