Is this way off for a round? It seems like the #s should be closer. How would this affect the diamond? Thanks for any info:
5.84 X 5.78 X 3.40 mm

Hi Lara,
Additional info would be helpful. What's the carat weight of this stone? Also, in determining how well cut a stone is you need to know other #s: table, depth, crown angle, pavillion angle. Do you have access to getting more info about this stone?

I don't have the angles but this seems to be a beautiful diamond, lots of sparkle.

Hi Lara,

I think the rule of thumb for out-of round is to have the 2 diameter measurements be different by .10 or more. Yours is only .08, so it may be getting close, but isn't out-ot-round. This has come up before -- you could probably do a search and find some of the experts' responses.
