Hello!
I am having a custom baguette wedding band made in platinum to go with my engagement ring. My engagement ring diamond is a 2.5 H color modern round brilliant, AGS0, no flor.
The baguette band will be a half eternity and very thin but I still want to make sure the diamonds match each other. I was thinking having G color baguettes in the band. Thoughts?
Thanks!

You will be absolutely fine with Gs. No worries at all. Also, I adore baguette eternities - you don't see too many (enough!) of them.

I love them, too! I would ask for G-H.

You will have a hard time seeing the color in the smalls. It is more important to get well cut baguettes than to worry too much about whether they are F-G, G-H, or H-I. And yes, some baguettes are totally lifeless and others look nice. Be sure to talk with your jeweler about what you want.

I agree. The side baguettes on my ering are just blah...might as well be glass.

Wow great advice! I wouldn't have thought to ask for well cut baguettes in that small of a size but now I will!
thanks so much!
