Hello,

I am going to have a 3 row pave ring made by WF. I also would like to have them make a 3 row pave matching wedding band. I would prefer to purchase the wedding band later since my budget has been maxed on the main ring.

Has anyone had a problem with this type of situation? By problem, I mean having them match. I assume since both will be WF that the melee design will match. But if I wait will it be more difficult to match up stone colors/look? Would they have 2 different batches of plat. metal, so there could be a slight difference in color/texture?

Has anyone waited on the wedding band and had them not quite match?

Have you requested a company build a matching ring and put it on hold?

The bad thing is, if you wait, you may have to send her e-ring back for a few weeks to have them match it exactly. I''d ask if they''d make it now and let you pay for it later, or whatever.

I don''t know if WF will make it and hold it ahead of time. You''ll probably just have to send the ring back when you''re ready for them to make the wedding band so they can match it.

Hi Blue.

Something we can offer is to make the wax for your matching band and hold it here until you are ready for us to cast it. We have done this for clients in the past.

There will be no texture or color difference between the rings, however you may want to send the e-ring back for polishing, cleaning and checking if you want it to look like new; otherwise there may be a difference between the worn ring and the new ring.
