I don''t know that I can pick one thing because there are many things I love about him. What comes to mind is his loyalty and steadfastness, his affection and generosity, and that he loves to share his day, his life and his feelings with me.

My husband is truly my best friend. Together we are lovers, parents, financial partners and managers of our family. As individuals, we are two unique personalities who compliment each other. And I truly love him for who he is... a smart, hilarious, caring, level-headed and generous man with a strong sense of self and morality. I couldn''t have imagined loving him any more. Until we became parents. He is also a wonderful father to our two boys.

We have been together for almost 16 years. And the bottom line is that we can sit around on the couch together laughing our heads off over something totally stupid. And many years from now when the kids are grown and we are shuffling around the nursing home... with one expression, he will still be able to make me laugh.

Even before we were together as a couple I was drawn to how he just took care of people (even people he'd just met) and was always so respectful of others. Now that we are a couple the best thing about him, is that he make me always want to strive to be a better person. Not through his words, but really through his own actions. And I feel totally comfortable about our future and I know that if something happens bad or good, he is the first person I want to share with.

I have to add more, my hubby is just so amazingly patient. It''s our 1 year anniversary and I''ve been working on a school project since 8:30 with no light at the end of the tunnel and he''s not the slightest bit miffed, he''s grocery shopping for dinner. Granted we went out last night to celebrate, but we should be spending the day together.

Haha... that was the first thing that came to my mind too! I am intense and emotional and sensitive and complex, and somehow my very easygoing, calm, sweet, laidback husband not only puts up with me, but even claims to love me for it.... I am continually amazed by his patience and willingness to just let me be ME without complaint...

But besides that, he is just one of the most positive, good-natured, upbeat people I know... nothing gets him down. I am continually amazed by his irrepressible spirit... and watching him play so sweetly with our kitty-cat (like right now!) always reminds me of all these things.

DH is simply a NICE guy. No one believes that I married him simply because of that... but nice also means sensitive, trustworthy, generous, loving, affectionate and patient. I had never met anyone so giving before, even to people he didn''t know very well. I would trust him with my life, and I know he will never lie to me or do anything to hurt me or our future family. Well.. never lie except when I ask if he remembered to put the toilet seat down, and he goes, "Nno... mmm.. maybe?"

Simply put my husband is my best friend. We can talk about anyting, we have so much fun when we''re together, we''ve been through good times and bad times, and we miss each other when we''re apart. He''s also the only male on Earth, besides my dad, that could ever put up with me. Hehe.
