I think it might be slightly mushy however, that price is hard to beat! Have you asked him to make you a video?
 
What's your budget for the whole ring? I can look for other ones, if you'd like.
 
Matt is making me a video. I loved your simple ring that was set n/s that I think DK did so I was thinking of something like that or getting it to use in a mother's ring (my daughter has an April birthday and my son is June). I thought it was a really good price but haven't gotten as far as the budget! I didn't want to miss out on a good marquise opportunity as I love the e/w thing. =)
 
What a peculiar video, they dont usually have flowers.

How do you feel about it? I'm not floored myself. Also, I'm reluctant to have you get it shipped to you to see in hand because you will be charged to send it back, unlike any stone from James Allen
 
Agree, I have to admit I didn't get a good feel for the stone as the video had so much movement. I was motion sick by the end! I think my main interest in a marquise is for the mother's ring I have in mind. I didn't want to miss a great opportunity for that project if the GOG diamond was a great find. I am thinking about starting with DK or CVB. I am looking for something understated but with carving incorporating the stones from my kids months and possibly my husbands in a little secret way. I appreciate your advice and as I get closer I am sure I will ask again as marquise is the shape I hope to find for the diamond. Thx!
