Hi Pricescope,
New member here, been lurking and reading up on all the valuable information over the last few months and my time has come to reach out for your opinions. Currently searching for a brilliant marquise, ideal cut and proportions, etc...and its been a difficult journey to say the least. Currently have a few stones I'm interested in and here's one of them. Any thoughts as to how this ASET looks?

I take it that it''s an eye clean SI1?

Can you post the other picture?

It looks nice to me.

here''s the rest of the images WF graciously provided. reported to be eye clean.

for what its worth, here''s the inclusion diagram from the GIA report. in my opinion, the 40x pics show a bunch of black needle points and a slight bowtie. that''s just my observation but again, my eyes are very untrained so that''s why im here. your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

My opinion is unchanged; it''s a very good looking marquise diamond.

Nice.

thanks for the reply everyone. any other opinions? im a bit concerned about the bowtie and brilliance of this stone.

I think it''s lovely.

It is a beautiful marquise, good ones aren't easy to find, I rarely see any I like and I have seen a lot - this one is lovely. The bow tie doesn't appear to be too prominent, ask for Bob Hoskins to take a look at it for you to let you know if the bow tie shows much or not, it looks to be not but best to check with WF.

That is a really gorgeous marquise - I would go for it.

Thanks for all the comments so far! I''m also impressed by this stone. I''m going to call in another one hopefully next week and do a comparison with this one. Keep the comments coming...

I love the proportions but I do see a bow tie. It may be more or less prominent when you move the stone around so I would definitely get it for a look.
