Marquise Diamond Purchase

Thanks for taking the time to read this post! I am getting very close to purchasing my first engagement ring and just wanted to run this by everyone first. The diamond I am considering buying is:

Can you request for a ASET image from the vendor?

Also, ask for the crown height of the stone.

It looks very nice, I am fond of marquise but a bit more info is needed please.

Can you get a clearer face up photo of the diamond?

An ASET image and Sarin scan to get the crown height is needed.

Also have you seen this diamond in person? Marquise can vary tremendously in shape so just to check the shape of this one is what you are looking for. Marquise often show bow ties ( a dark bow tie shaped area running across the top of the stone) so important to ask the vendor how much of a bow tie it shows or check for this in person.

Have you checked the diamond is eyeclean either in person or by asking the vendor? What are the grade making inclusions on the GIA report such as feathers, clouds etc?
