marquise cut ring

Awww, it's not there anymore. :(

Try teaching out to muttsrgreat. Maybe he can send a photo.

edited to add @ProfessorBling ....

Scroll down, its still there & he's had zero bids as of this moment!

sarahb, thank you! I thought it was a pretty piece - all are welcome to disagree and/or educate me - and the seller struck me as sincere. Most ebay sellers send me running when I post a question or comment.

Alas, the auction ended at 9 PM EST this evening, but you could use the Contact sender link in the Seller information box on the right-hand side of the expired listing, @ProfessorBling , to ask muttsrgreat if he will be re-listing the ring or would consider doing so. I've done that 4-5 times on eBay -- and ended up winning the item every time (on two occasions, the sellers and I reached an agreement on a Buy It Now price before they posted the re-listing & immediately sent me the link so I could make the purchase right away).

Just one caveat: in the now expired listing, it says Seller does not accept returns. I myself won't buy something that cannot be returned which costs more money than I don't mind losing. But you may feel differently, especially since eBay's Money Back Guarantee is supposed to enable you to get a refund if the ring is not as described even if the seller has a "no returns" policy:
In the alternative, if you've paid for the item using a credit card, you could pursue a charge-back through the credit card company on the same ground, i.e., deciding you don't care for the ring once you've seen it in person isn't a valid reason for a charge-back. (Note that eBay will not follow through on its Money Back Guarantee process if you've initiated a charge-back, or opened a claim with PayPal).

muttsrgreat emailed me thru ebay to thank me, said he's had an inquiry already. If this goes to a PSer I'm going to wet my pants.
I've gotten a few things on ebay, and the sincere and truthful people tend to stand out. This seller wants his mother's ring to go to a good home, and I believe him/her.

I wish I had seen this before I purchased my pear. I really wish I had held off a couple weeks, I found a better place to get a diamond at a similar price literally a week after. I really hope this ring goes to a good home.

oliverave, I know exactly what you're saying. I bought a 1.19 Asscher from Todd Gray 6 weeks ago and if not for that, I'd be all over this ring. I keep pleading with the seller to have patience and put it on Loupe Troup. "A good home" is exactly what he emailed me thru ebay."
Thank you for your thoughts. Funny how you take someone's situation to heart.

I really hope a PSer bought it! What a lovely ring.

Oh I am just seeing your replies now! It is gone now, but thanks all for the assist.

Is it sold? It got no bids on ebay, I thought it was just withdrawn.

I can see it...its very pretty! A sweet ring!

Edit...I see it says that the seller has relisted the ring.

Awesome.
I begged him/her to look at PriceScope and LoupeTroop, but at least he hasn't given up. Such a lovely ring.

it seems to have ended again and says sold but it all happened on Nov. 30 so not sure if someone actually bought it or it was relisted automatically and he ended it. Hopefully it went to a good home if it was actually sold.

The original listing I see says Nov. 28. I hope it sold, and as you and everyone has said, to a good home.
