A friend of mine is ready to propose & has asked me to help him pick out a nice marquis for a setting he has in mind at James Allen. I found a couple of options, but I do not know anything about marquis stones, so if anyone can help, I would appreciate it! Also, I have no idea what his budget is, so I am going to guess it is going to be around $3500.

Here are 2 I found:

Calling them "IDEAL" does not mean they are. You don''t have the crown height measurement. They could be near an AGA Ideal range or may be not. I think you need the crown height before assuming anything. Maybe James Allen has other documentation or has the crown height on the stones. If so, then possibly all''s well.

Right here on PRICESCOPE at the AGA-Ideal specs..... Proving there is always something more to know.

It isn''t ecessry to agree that it is a perfect system, but it has been around and in use since the early 1990''s. It is incorporated into many websites and even was a part of DiamCalc by Octonus years ago.
