I accidentally typed in markmorrell.com and got this rendering - the rest of the site is still under construction. I can't wait to see it come to life. I had my heart set on a Novo but this could really be gorgeous. Thoughts?

I think it is fantastic. I don''t think I''ve ever seen a ring quite like it before. I love the delicate "petals" and the surprise diamonds. Two thumbs up from me.

I like it, very pretty.

It will look so beautiful! I hope he posts the finished product.

Gorgeous! I have always loved designs with flowers and leaves on the designs

.

I like it. Question: Will the petals hide the pavilion facets and diminish the brilliance?

i think its very pretty and unique

Looks beautiful, can''t wait to see it!

It shouldn''t affect the performance of the diamond in any way if the stone is well cut in the first place. Just like a bezel setting, the light comes in from the top and leaves from the top as well. If the stone is a yucky cut, then it will need "assistance" from light coming through from the pavilion.

Right.

But it will cover the pavilion view some.

I really like this! Very unique. I hope he posts the final piece so we can see how it turns out!!

OH wow, that''s really different!

I really like it, except I don''t love the way the shank is kinda in two "sections"... the main part of the shank and then the separate small part right under the head. I think that looks a little "robotic" or something.

BUUUUUT, that could just be the limitations of the CAD and IRL it would just be a smooth, one-piece shank. If that were the case, and if where the head connects to the shank was smooth and delicate... oh baby, babee... me would LURVES IT!!!

Very pretty and unique. Not sure if it is *my* style but I am sure it will be lovely.

It's beautiful, but I love to see the pavilion whenever possible.

I think that will make a beautiful ring!

I love it! I think it''s so pretty and elegant, but still simple. I''d love to see this in real life!

Very interesting...I think I like it!
Would love to see the finished product :)

LOVE it! I love little details like that making the ring different. Very pretty.

GORGESS!!! I LOVE THAT RING!!!! I have a cushette though...and so, well, I think a round would be best in that ring! If I had the $$ and a round that would be the ring for me! I say get that one, you get to wear 2 things women should love the most (besides her hubby) which is diamonds and flowers! Who can say no to that?

It is a really pretty design, but it certainly does cover up most of the pavilion.
