Thanks Linda. I wasn''t even going to post it but I am still amazed at the difference. Plus I like my new hair color. Thank you again for telling me about what shampoo to get - my hair is finally getting soft and shiny again. How are you doing?

I am doing fine. I just got my hair cut today and highlighted HA!!! I had to buy more shampoo too. It had been 3 months since my last highlight, boy did I have roots.. ugh. I had to cancel last time because I had the flu.

I hope to start drying my hair out in the sun on weekends to lighten up my hair. If I get sun on my hair it stays pretty blonde. I bet your new hair cut looks awesome. You should post a picture. Glad to hear you are doing fine.

Hi Skippy. Grandma is doing okay. She is in a nursing home now and still confused but she is doing therapy and eating (mostly sweets). I feel bad for her. I hope she''ll start getting out and doing activities there. She was sure excited to see Marty today. He''s been out of town since last weekend. Thanks for asking.

Hi Kimi. I agree that grandma would enjoy it more if she''s get involved so far she just sets in her room. She has only eaten in the dining room once but I think she''d enjoy getting out and visiting with people. They give them printouts everyday with the menu and activities so I keep asking her about it. Hopefully she''ll find some people there to talk to and keep herself occupied. Her roommate seems nice. She has a broken leg. Take care.

Hi Linda. I was trying to be polite with "tissue" because she said iit is a fatty tumor and I don''t recall the medical term for it. LOL. I was teasing him once we knew it was nothing serious that "how bad can it be? Your head is full of that kind of stuff?" Tee hee. He said it was pretty awful today. They cut a semi circle and the doctor was pushing the muscles out of the way and 2 other people were pushing down on his back so the doctor could pull it all out. She said things like that just grow. She told him it will fill in with fluids or tissue and look like it''s still there for quite awhile and she told him he is going to be really bruised up from it. He has all sorts of issues at work so no way can he stay home. I think he''s going to be pretty miserable for a few days. Maybe I should go find him a new silk shirt and then NOT wash it. Good plan there.

Grandma is doing about the same. She finally asked for some of her things from home so we will get a list of what she wants and go get them for her. I wish she''d venture out more to the social events there but so far she just sets in her room. She doesn''t even go eat in the dining room. Of course she is in a wheel chair so she has to have someone push her around. They have the broken elbow strapped down with a brace that is strapped to her chest so she can''t use it. I don''t know how long that will be there and then she''ll need therapy on that arm. I feel so bad for her.

Thank you for thinking of me Linda. Yes, I had a pretty bad cold in December. The 2 ladies I work with in the morning have children who are always sick so I probably got it from them. I wipe down my work station every day but I guess in a small room it''s easy to catch things. How are you doing?

Hi Harriet! It''s great to hear from you. I am doing pretty good (except for a stupid cold that almost gets better then comes back with a vengance). Thank you for asking. How are you? I am taking a cake decorating class that is taking up a lot of my weekends baking cakes, making frosting, mixing up different colors of frosting, etc then doing all the dishes from my mess. I am enjoying the class but didn''t realize it would keep me off PS so much.

What fun project should we work on? Do you have anything new in your jewelry, gemstone collection?

Hi Skippy. How are you doing? How nice that you had 70 degree weather today. Do you get out and go for a nice "Skippy?" We had mid 40''s but the wind made it pretty chilly. I hope to see the comet tonight; it''s clear here but I am very sleepy so I don''t know if I will stay up long enough to catch it. My cold came back big time so I took some anthihistamine and it is making me very tired. Rats. This coming Wednesday is the last class of course 1. We are doing a cake with roses, a shell border, some writing, some sweat peas and a bow. I want to try cupcakes again so I can make them better than my first batch. That tube frosting I tried to use was difficult for me to squeeze out of the tube. I want to try the big swirls on cucpakes like they do in the cupcake thread and make a few teddy bears that don''t look spooky. Ha Ha. Grandma keeps asking for chocolate cake so maybe I will make some chocolate cupcakes and decorate them and take them out to her. Next month is course 2 and I am thinking about buying styrofoam pieces to frost (that would save me a lot of time) and use the boughten frosting. I can''t believe how much time it takes me on the weekend to get ready for class then on Tuesday I have to frost the cake or cupcakes before class. It interferes with my prized time on Pricescope!

I am baking my cakes or cupcakes on the weekend then freezing them. What is your avatar? It is GORGEOUS. What a lovely color. I love zircons and spinel.

I have done some painting on shirts but that is about it. It was more going around the outline of things. You should make some though for me to enjoy. I don''t think I will try gemstone cupcakes that crisco frosting is so greasy. I wouldn''t even stick my gem dish stones in it. I''d have to steam clean them a dozen times to get them clean again.

Hi Harriet. That is exactly what happens to me I feel almost well then it comes back. I get really cold when I am getting sick. I hate that. I am prone to bronchitis too. Small world, eh? Your danburite is stunning. I love yellow. Oh Paint software. I have Photoshop but I am not very good at it. What would we try to do?

That sounds really fun! I must be your twin in may ways as I am pretty bad at Photoshop as well but it''s the only photo software program I have on my laptop so I just have to use it. I have figured out how to crop, adjust light and color and resize images. That is about it. I hope I am awake enough tomorrow to give it a try.
