I spent the weekend dog sitting for a very rambunctious puppy while my friends were in Cancun. They are supposed to fly back tomorrow morning, but now we don''t think they''ll get in on time (if at all). I don''t know how much more of this cute little trouble-maker I can take!! Haha. I so don''t have the energy for another day of keeping him out of trouble. So here''s to hoping the snow isn''t as bad as they''re predicting!

Where are you? Hopefully there won''t be so much that they can''t keep the runways clear.

However . . . your friends could be gone for a few more days than expected since the whole east coast is involved.

Give the puppy some scotch. It will make him nap more.

[I am kidding. That was a joke. Do not give the dog any scotch.]
Lol. Mmm ... scotch ... Haha.

They''re flying into JFK (they live in the Hudson Valley). I just got a message from them and they got put on a flight at 7pm tonight (they were supposed to be landing around 7am this morning). So I guess we''ve got the pup for another evening. Though I came back to our house in Connecticut last night and FI is with him now; I might not be able to get back there and he might be stuck with puppy all by himself

Poor FI.

Ugh, I hate when it snows here ... For how much snow we get, you''d think they would start salting the roads. It makes such a difference! They pull out some excuse about the salt polluting the Long Island Sound ... it''s salt water! How much damage can some extra salt do? Haha. There''s really not much snow left on the roads, but if they''re not going to salt it, it''s going to just stay there and be slippery. I ended up not going into work because it''s just not worth it to potentially wreck my car on the back roads I take. So happy snow day to anyone else not going in!

I just ran out to take a few photos, but they didn''t come out too well. I''ll have to try again later--here''s a shot:

Oh my goodness, NEL, they''re adorable! They must absolutely love the snow.

DS, enjoy your snow day. T and I probably won''t go anywhere. I heard the roads are bad (b/c of the inexperience winter drivers). What a way to bring in March! Two snow storms in one winter is rare for us.

Awww, they are gorgeous! I love how, Byron is it?, just plopped down in the snow and your little one is running around him!

I saw a Bernese Mountain dog puppy playing in the snow once, and I nearly cried, he was so happy and so at home in the snow!!

ETA: Thank you for posting a pic!

GORGEOUS pic!!!!

I''m in NC, we did get several beautiful inches of snow. Most I have ever seen in my nearly 5 years here! Absolutely gorgeous! Went out last night with the dog, and was back up early this morning to take pics, b/c I didn''t want everything to melt first. LOL, I don''t think this snow is going anywhere, but the streets are fine! I have pics, I should post them too, in a little bit. Nothing exciting, but so lovely.

It's still snowing here in northern Virginia, but we are inland. Usually we get more snow than the Coast does, but this is a coastal storm so everything is backwards. I think we only have about 5 or 6 inches so far. My father (in southern, coastal Connecticut) had had 7" by 5:30 this morning. My brother (in northern Connecticut) is in the area where 15" is supposed to fall. As others have said, though, we shall see! Until the storm is over no one ever really knows what the actual snowfall will be!

I love snow. I never, ever complain about the snow. On principle.

It took me 2.5 hours to get from Providence to Boston this morning and walked in to literally 5 people in the office. Everyone else stayed home. I wish I had brought my laptop home with me over the weekend. *sigh* sucks being the new girl and not knowing the ropes. Oh and our office also has NO HEAT because a water main broke on Friday and they''re still fixing it. I''m sitting here in my jacket with a space heater on high, freezing!!

Byron and Boatswain are so cute. I bet they''re loving being outside. I couldn''t get D.O.G. inside this morning. He loves the snow too. He was all excited when we let him out and he saw white.

The old snow thread is closed??

I was gonna post pics, I figured I''d post them here instead. We got a good 8 inches here in Philly.

Technically not snow, but there were some really cool icicles outside my window today.

Another....
I should have ventured out this morning and taken some actual SNOW pics. Instead I was feeling like being a lazy bum... it was really cold out, in my defense

Now it just looks ugly outside... black slushy stuff
