A man and a Tiger have been killed at Youngor Wildlife Park, Ningbo, about 200kms (125 miles) South of Shanghai. At first it was reported they didn't know why the man scaled the wall and ended up in a Tiger Enclosure but it has since been suggested that the man's wife and child were watching on as he was mauled and the reason he climbed the wall was he was trying to evade paying the entrance fee that was reported to be 130 Yuan around $18.90 USD.
He later died in hospital, the zookeepers released fireworks and used water cannons, and fired shots in the air, which thankfully scared three of the Tigers, but they could not get one Tiger off the man so they had to shoot and kill one of the Tigers that mauled him to death.

If it is true he was trying to get out of paying the entrance fee scaling a wall to end up in the middle of a Tiger enclosure seems like an exceedingly idiotic thing to do, the Chinese themselves are saying how stupid it was and how sorry they are for the Tiger that was killed and the man's family....
