I did some research before buying a diamond and shopped around quite a bit. This is my first time posting here, but I will say I read many posts during my research. I usually get 2nd opinions/reviews on forums for everything (merchandise purchases, fantasy sports, pet care, etc.) but I wanted to know that when purchasing a diamond for engagement, it was based completely on my opinions/decisions. Hopefully this was not foolish! Just put a down payment on a stone today - Price is $5170. How do you think I did? I will try to provide as many details as possible, but the photocopied cert. is hard to read so dimensions may not be exact, especially the girdle.
