A few weeks ago I asked for peoples opinion on what setting to get for my little 5x4mm ruby and I appreciate everyone's advice, but I went with the flower one to get more finger coverage. They did have to modify it a little to go with my stone and I think it came out amazing :). The stone is bright enough it pops even with all the stuff going on around it. Here is a video and some pics. Again hard to capture the red, but I did my best. In person it has a deeper and brighter red to it, but does it sparkle :)

It’s a beautiful ring! Congrats and enjoy!

So pretty! Love the delicate, vintage feel of it, it's so lovely!

Beautiful ring!!!

It's gorgeous!

Yay! Enjoy the delightful ring.

Congrats on your ruby ring! Can I nudge you to get a better camera?* Or take some pictures in full sun? I love the soft sparkles I see from the video you showed us! It definitely has a vintage vibe, as @Lilith112 has pointed out.

Edit: *I say this about the camera because my old phone was terrible at capturing pictures, and there was a world of difference for me when I tried capturing the color and brilliance of my ruby rings, which I showed somewhere on the Catch-all thread.

Wow, this is really gorgeous!
I love the delicate romantic feel.
And that milgrain is yummy:love:

Hi. Thank you. I will actually use my husband's phone camera which is way better for color, but i was to excited and wanted to take pics early while he was still sleeping, so i ed my own. Also the vendor said he had trouble getting red to come through in pics.

What a pretty ring, I love the vintage style detailing of your setting!

HI:

Great ring!

cheers--Sharon

Beautiful who did the setting

So lovely and feminine. :appl::love:

Very nice!!

Very pretty, congrats!!!

Wow rubies are hard to capture the correct color. This pic shows the deepness of color and even though it does have a slight purple modifier in some lights, the picture shows it way more purple and less bright than IRL . Below is also vendor pic that shows the actual brightness ans saturation of the stone, but IRL is a little more red and less pink.

That looks amazing. I love how the setting flows out from the Ruby across your finger. It is a perfect match

For red stones, I use my iPhone to take the photos under strong light to get the "red" colour.

Wow what a beautiful color! Great choice on the setting too...it really does show up nicely on the hand and makes the ruby pop...looks fantastic!

Beautiful!

I love that ruby! The setting is just perfect to show her off! So pretty!
