DS, who will be 3 at the end of February, is starting preschool in a month. Since birth he's been with me at work (at home) with a full time nanny, but DH and I feel it's best for him to be around other kids now and not just grown ups. He's a picky eater and normally doesn't sit down to eat lunch but snacks throughout the day. All he is willing to eat is: freshly grilled chicken or steak (won't eat leftovers), yogurt, hot dogs, crackers, peanut butter, all fruits, cream of wheat or oatmeal, bacon, only broccoli or sweet potatoes for veggies (he does love veggie green foods drinks), rice and beans and pizza. Thats it. He won't even try anything else. So I'm kind of stumped on what to pack for his lunches.
There is a kid with severe peanut allergies at the school so PB&J is out.
Any other moms with picky eaters have any good ideas/anything that worked for their kids school lunches?
