Anyone know if some online vendors carry Luminar, we want to get it in 14 or 18ct gold instead of Platinum and want to see if anyone can beat the quote we got from solomon brothers. I''ve already purchased the diamond and will have someone local set it. 1.5ct Ascher

I was just in Shane Co. location and they carry Luminar.

I didn''t see this ring on their website but I guess giving them a call wouldn''t hurt.

We ordered from Solomon....more than what I wanted but I guess that was my fault. Shane offered to order but their time line was way too long.

Fortunately for her, she's getting exactly, everything she wanted, so I guess I shouldn't complain. No complaining for several years. For me, I saved on the rock and paid more for the settings than I wanted. One guy for the rock, another for the rings.

We're paying right below $3K for the engagement (14K white gold, not my choice...hers) setting and wedding ring(together, I think it's another 1 Carat in Baguettes, 2 on engagement, 3 on wedding ring G/SI1) and I paid $6500 for the rock. End of the day we're looking at close to $10K and what I think for E-rings is about even. Being uneducated in the diamond world, I figured I'd get out for about $3K before this whole thing started, boy was I wrong!
