I''m engaged!
My Fiance (!!) is an amatuer photographer, and he has an exhibition coming up in a few weeks. He asked if after work today I would go out with him to take some photos. This is not unusual at all, so I didn''t suspect anything (I even made other plans because I forgot we were going!).
We went down to observatory hill, a big park near the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and he took a bunch of photos while I sat on a park bench admiring the view. He then sat next to me and showed me some of the photos he''d just taken on the screen. He was flicking through them, and the last one was photo of the words ''Marry Me'' spelt out in coffee beans! I said yes, cried a bit, then we then had some cheese and champagne in the park, before going out to dinner.
It was so us (between the photography and the coffee!), and even though I knew the ring was in the house he still managed to completely surprise me!
I only have one crappy photo I took with my phone at the moment, I''ll get more in the next few days. Stats are:
1.37ct Australian Sapphire
2 pear shapes diamonds (E, vs and F vvs) totalling .43ct
18 ct white gold.
