He''s gone.

Amazu crossed over the rainbow bridge yesterday morning. After he started showing neurological symptoms, he went downhill fast. By the time I took him in, he could barely move.

I held him in my arms as he slipped quietly away. He purred until the very end.

He was a very special cat. He was always happy and he brought such joy to my life. I know I''ll never find another like him, which makes the loss that much more devastating.

I miss him terribly.

HI:

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. It is never easy, but you put Amazu first and did the right thing. I am still coping with companion loss myself and I so sympathise with you. In time you will be able to find some comfort in your memories, but for now, allow yourself to grieve, getting the pain out is so important. You will never ever find another cat like him, that is guaranteed - but in the fullness of time, you may feel that perhaps you can open your heart and home to another furry baby. But grieve at your own pace and take it a day at a time. Hugs to you, many of us know how you feel and are keeping you and Amazu in our thoughts and prayers.

I''m so very sorry, Aloros. I have no idea what to say exept that at least Amazu isn''t suffering anymore. I hope I''m not saying the wrong things. I teared up reading your posts and can''t imagine loosing my own kitty at an early age.

My deepest sympathies - just know that your beloved pet had a wonderful life with you and your BF - even up until the very end. He''s not in anymore pain or discomfort which should be a little comforting. I''m so sorry...

You did right by that precious furball, I know you know that, but I hope that knowledge at least helps to soothe some of your pain.

Aloros, I''m sorry to hear about Amazu. I know how it feels...I grew up with dogs but haven''t had them as an adult because I just dont think I could deal with losing them, though I know how much joy they bring to my life. You have amazing memories of Amazu and think how lucky you both were to have had each other! Thinking of you...

Oh Aloros, I was hoping against hope for better news.
My deepest sympathies about your very special Amazu.

much love,
molly
