Looking to purchase a 2.6 ct G S12 diamond

Have you seen it? I am sure I couldn't handle an SI2 that had a feather as the primary inclusion.

very unlikely to finda nice SI1 that is eye clean above 2ct, let alone an SI2

GIA certificate and scores a 1.7 on the HCA. I haven't seen it yet...but plan to do so early next week

Because you are looking at rather large diamonds, you may want to consider getting a somewhat smaller stone and a clarity grade of VS2 or better.
