.. on this 1.25 VS1 I-colour ex/ex/ex round brilliant diamond.

GIA graded:

1.25 carat wt
Clarity VS1
Colour I
Cut Grade Excellent
Polish Excellent
Symmetry Excellent

Measurements: 7.04 - 7.07 x 4.19mm
Fluorescence: Medium Blue
Table 58%
Depth 59.4%
Crown: 32.5 degrees, 13.5%
Pavilion: 41.0 degrees, 43%

The reference diagram shows some face up crystal, feather, and cloud, with one feather near the edge. HCA shows that it should have quite good light characteristics, although ASET or other pictures are unavailable.

The cost is $8500, and I am planning on setting it in a classic plain 4-prong platinum band.

Although I've tried to do my share of research, I would appreciate any opinions, pro or con!

Thanks gang!

Proportions look to be ok on paper but without an ASET image you don't really know until you see it. Also, cannot see GIA grading report very well...the crystals under the table may be visible. Again, unless you get a magnified picture of the diamond, you won't really know what to think of it until you see it in person. Do they have a return policy in case you don't like the stone?
