Found this site by way of another site, and boy...my head is spinning now after reading more info than I thought could exist on the 4c's

I'm going to be proposing in a couple months and am looking at diamonds for the ring My price range is probably 4k tops for the diamond, and doing a search here on the listings, it looks like that's probably around the 0.75 - 0.80 ct range? (Might try for 3-3.5k....I'm still thinking about it. But that'd bring the size down)

Would anyone mind taking a look at the stats for ones I had my eye on and see if anything looks out of place?

Wow, I really like the 2nd and 3rd stone. I really like the F cuz it really is a nice icy, white. It appears to be a great looking premium select with the nice reflector images...The arrows seem crisp, and very symmetrical in my eyes.

Stone 3 is super clean too (imaging). It's expert select, but I don't know what makes the F only a premium select. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but for only 300$ more, I would go for the F (colorless and bigger, but that's me). It doesn't appear to perform any worse than the H... I'd say it's a toss up!!! Which do you like more?

Definitely leaning towards 2nd or 3rd...thinking now that $4k is too much for my budget.

Thanks for the insight, given me some additional things to think about. Been thinking of going with an oval or princess cut instead of round as well...still thinking. Basically reading all I can here.

Price is right, but not quite sure how to read the GemEx Light Performance reports....seems like they are really yellow to me.
