Looking for other designers in the style of WM Richey or Eddie Sakamoto
Here are the two best links I have found for their work.
http://www.wmrichey.com/rings1.html
http://www.kenwalkerjewelers.com/index2.html
love to find better links, more info. or to hear any stories about these two designers from those who have experienced them.
My GF has been planning her ring since she was 12. These are her dream designers. after many near misses on my part, trying to guess what she wanted,
here is the email she sent me...
"...these are the designers I''ve been drooling over for the last decade or so. I don''t know if you recall our very first expedition to the jewelry store. When I walked in, I asked about a designer I had seen there several years ago whose first or last name began with a "W". They didn''t know who I meant. Here he is: William Richey. He & Sakamoto, as far as I''m concerned are tied for first place."
If you only hold on to these links along with the Ken Walker link of Sakamoto''s sculptures, you will then know what I want. These two designers will tell you everything !!!! there is to know about me & my aesthetic leanings concerning the ROCK.
As I now understand it, she wants contemporary, finger art as an engagement ring. a conversation piece.
These rings seem very expensive to me..I was wondering
1) if there is "any insider tips" to make the cost more reasonable
on this kind of a designer or custom made ring. also...now that you know as much as I do about what she likes.
2) Do you know of any other designers in their style that she also might enjoy taking a look at?
All constructive comments, links, prices, experiences, most welcome..
