Thanks! :D

All BG Signature stones are excellent.

It's beautiful. You seriously can't go wrong with one of his branded in house stones. If you're looking at I color, you might look at his "Blue" line too with fluorescence. :)

Yeah I had looked at the blues and I really like them, but for an engagement ring which is the first diamond I'm buying her I'm thinking I'll stick to non-fluorescent, particularly because she isn't aware said purchasing is going on and thus I can't get her opinion.

Maybe for the next one(s). :)

Alright one more...It's a h si1. Assuming it's eye-clean (something I don't know yet) would this be a better choice?

I consider H color better, but I would ask them if the stone is totally eyeclean even from the sides. I would really want the inclusions to be impossible to see with the eyes from any direction. Specify that because they normally only look at the top. If your stone is set in a halo, the sides won't matter as much, though. In a solitaire, it does matter. It will all depend on that crystal and whether it is white or black and it's location. It has the potential to be fine!

You would have to ask BGD the strength of the color it takes on outside. It's not going to look an aquamarine or something else.

even with a very strong blue fluorescent diamond, it only takes up a slight tinge of blue under strong sunlight because the UV content isn't that high.

to fully appreciate fluorescent diamonds, you will need UV torches or head to the discos.
