mrssalvo....you had posted about you daughter Lily's uneven ear piercing on 11/21/06...............
I just wanted to know now that it has almost been 2 years...can you see the hole of the one you took out? I had my daugther's ears pierced a week ago...and I specifically told the woman that I was afraid of uneven piercings because mine are uneven and I hate them. yes, I know petty stuff but still...as women it sucks, lol.
Well the dots she put were perfect...but sure enough..when she actually pierced them...they are uneven and they both angle down...so you can even see the backs of the earrings just looking at her straight on. i hate them! I really want to take them out but I don't want her to have these scar holes that you can see. I guess that's better than having uneven and pointed down earrings forever.
so...how does her ear look now two years later...is the original piercing noticable? My daughter is only 16 months old....and like I said she's had these earrings in a week. I really regret piercings her ears so young now...I just should have waited.

Thank you! I hope you find this! :)

EDITED TO ADD: I just became a member today because i was doing a search on people who have had experiences with uneven ear piercings and i found your post from almost 2 years ago so that's why im here now. lol

(and anyone else who has experiences please let me know!)

Just take them out...at that young age they will probably heal up just fine, but the longer you wait, the longer it''ll take the holes to fill in. Then you can just get them repierced (please get a professional, NOT someone with a gun at the mall) when she''s older.

thank you! lol i thought the people with the guns at the malls were professionals...jk. what do you mean by professional? a place designated specifically to piercings? thank you

Yep, take them out now. It''s much harder to get the hole to close up once they are healed. I tried it with my child and the hole did not go away.

I''d take them out now. I took my daughter to her pediatrician to get her ears pierced.

Yes, go to a piercing/tattoo parlor. Much safer, they are actually trained! The mall gun people usually are trained for about 5 minutes. Do some research on the guns too...not really very sanitary!
