The last time I was here I sought advice on a 2.0+ diamond pendant and I was told it was "steep and deep" so I passed on it. Thank you all for saving me! But I still have to buy some diamonds for Christmas. OK, so I spoke to the LOML and she thought I was crazy to buy her a 2.0 to hang around her neck but seemed to think that 2.0 total for earrings would be the cats ass, go figure.
So I''m looking for two stones that will size up pretty well to each other in all the 4 c''s somewhere in the .75-1.0 each. I take it color and clarity are not that important for earrings. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as rocks that are good for earrings, the pendant stone was 8200 but now I would like to lower that a bit to somewhere between 4-6k.
And don''t be shy in suggesting I spend less, that''s always good when you have a 2 and 4 year old to raise.
Or I still can spend the same amount, just that she didn''t think I should spend that much on something she didn''t need, I realize she is trying to trick me here, just haven''t figured how yet.
