Another newbie here. My question for the forum is if all 4C''s were equal, which of the following vendors would have the best price on a diamond; ERD, GOG, Whiteflash, USA Certed, Niceice or Blue Nile. Assuming they are all accessing the same diamond inventory database, what would account for the price difference? I realize it is vacation time for many vendors, but I''m having difficulty sourcing a Super Ideal H&A round brilliant in the $18,000-$20,000 range. What am I doing wrong? PS. I''ve noticed that many of the testimonials on this forum are quite dated, so would be very interested in opinions on any of these vendors (or others), that you have used them recently. Thank you.

US Certed or BN might have the best price, but you get no real info on them with BN. You will pay a bit for IS and ASET pics, Helium scans, etc. But for me, it's worth it.

Here's what I found with a quick glance around. Not sure what color/clarity you are after.

I am almost certain this one has been deemed eyeclean, and the flourescence will help it face up whiter.

This must be new, all info not up yet (on first two). 5% off for PS discount on ACA's.

Of course need to ask if eyeclean. And at this size, there will not be a ton. The higher ct weight you get, the more rare they are, in well cut stones.

No real problems with any of these vendors, except BN and the lack of info.

Another great place to consider is Jamesallen.com. They have prices that are very competitive with bluenile, but they provide more infomation on their stones (images) and they offer an upgrade policy.

Welcome! I just got my new ring from Mark at EngagementRingsDirect.com a month ago. I''m very pleased with the service and the ring. I just went to his website, searched his Premium diamonds, and he had lots in your price range to pick from. All are AGS or GIA certed. Happy hunting!
