Looking for a ring!

I had an opal engagement ring that broke due to taking poor care of it. I am now looking for a colored gemstone ring, hardy, vintage, and $300 or less.
I like alexandrite, morganite, sapphire, ruby, moss quartz, generally most hardy, tough, colored gems.
I like marquise, pear, kite, and unique/weird cuts.
I work in the medical field, so I'm rough on my hands, lots of alcohol and hand washing.
A matching band is a HUGE plus, in which I'm willing to raise my budget to $400 total.

Agree! Alcohol is fine on sturdy stones and gold and platinum. Never use it n soft stones. Soft stones like emeralds, opals and pearls do not do well with anything but soapy water. Pearls are even pickier. I use warm water and castile soap on pearls...very sparingly.

This one is at Macy’s. It’s a bit higher but with Black Friday sales I bet you could get it. Many of the Macy’s jewelry is hit or miss. This gives off a quality appearance.
