Well,

I''ve decided to propose to the woman of my dreams ; )

She is quite fond of the princess cut so I''ve been trying to look for something in my price range.

I''m just starting my career and in a couple more years expect I could upgrade to something quite a bit nicer, but for now I am limited to about 8K diamond and setting.

I''m looking for Princess cut, 1-1.3 carats, F-H, SI1 (eye clean) or VS2. Was looking a couple months ago but had some extra expenditures come up. I''m all set to buy now I just have to find the right stone and band and then comes the harder part coming up with the perfect proposal.

Honestly, I''d rather have quality over carats....She is a petite woman and while she would ideally like a 1.5 carat stone and it may happen down the line she is ~ a 4.5 size ring and I think something in the range I''m looking at will be fine, (in all honesty I don''t think she cares about the size she''ll just be happy to be engaged).

I''ve been lurking for a few months and can''t say I''ve gotten proficient at looking at ASET/Idealscope, although I have picked up that that is really the only way to evaluate a princess as it is a fancy cut.

I stumbled upon this one at Whiteflash today and wondered what you all thought.

Whiteflash

Thanks in advance

Nice, put it on hold quick before it get snatch.

Should be a beauty, but of course a photo would be nice. Looks like it''s a very new stone. You can''t really go wrong with an ACA.

I think the ASET looks great too! It has my vote!
