Looking for a marquise stone!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a Marquise stone. Basically, I'm just looking for the best stone for the money. I'd like to be as close to 1ct as possible, if not over. I've got a custom setting in the works, and am looking to help the process along. Absolute high end for budget would be $3000 for the stone.

I don't really care about lab perfection - just to the eye. As in, eyeclean clarity, whatever color is white or colorless enough to the eye, whatever polish/symmetry is needed, etc.

Any help would be fantastic. I need a push in the right direction so I can buy my stone and get it to the designer of the setting.

They both have bowties, but I couldn't find one without one.

I am hoping you don't mean they have started making a setting without the main diamond, right? If you don't choose one of the James Allen stones, I would call Good Old Gold and have them call in a couple for you. They can check light performance, etc. for you.
