looking for a handbag to go with winter coat

hey ladies (and gents) I am looking for a new bag to go with my new winter coat and am undecided. The coat is wool and about 3/4 length straight front (doesn''t overlap) and has a belt. It is a deep hunter green and has chocolate brown buttons. I am thinking brown or white leather....any ideas??

I would go with a chocolate bag (I don''t have any pics to post), but I think that would be better than the white!

Chocolate brown all the way! Winter white is chic if you are in New York City, but I love brown and think it is more versatile in the long run...

I third the chocolate vote! It will not only match the trim on your coat but will go with every jeans-y outfit for winter you have...

Brown to pick up on the choco brown buttons. White seems like too much of a contrast to the coat.
