looking for a great looking asscher - pics included

hi everyone

i''ve just reserved this stone and am hoping to get some feedback on it. i''m not 100% sure how to interpret the aset and is images though. can someone explain to me what the images say about the stone?

Disclaimer: I have a business relationship with GOG as you know.

The ASET:
Nice mix of red/green/blue in the proper places under the crown facets.
The blue under the table indicates a drop style asscher.
The picture confirms this.
The red and green around the edges of the table area is a good sign that it doesn't have to much contrast and makes it brighter.

Windmills are green, are they bright enough to show up and complete the patterns? Regular picture says yes.
Center is red and the regular picture shows nice light return there which is another good sign.

Moving on to the Sarin:
CH of 15.7% is good.
l/w ratio of 1.02 is good.

I prefer asschers in which the culet comes to a point.
This one doesn't and it is almost emerald-cutlike; It's not really emerald and not really asscher.
It is an in between look.
To me it is a wonky look since the windmills don't meet in the middle.

Purely personal preference.

Karl: thanks for taking a look and explaining the images to me! i''ve been trying to learn how to interpret the images but it''s quite overwhelming to a newbie like me!

Kenny: i think i would also prefer a stone where the windmills met in the center but i''m not too concerned about it. i don''t think it is something i would notice when looking at the stone with my naked eye.

That is correct you will see the square of light in the center like in the regular picture.
The optical symmetry is excellent but that cutter does the p3s that leaves the small line at the culet.
Unless it is eye visible or it throws the symmetry of the rest of the facets into a EC look its not a downgrade.
