Looking for a cushion.

I'm sure there are probably a million other posts talking about this but I am a newbie and I need some help. I've began the daunting task of trying to build an engagement ring. Unfortunately, I live in central Oregon and there are (to my knowledge) not any decent jewelers sell the size diamond I am looking for. That being said I am looking at having to buy online, which I know is tricky with cushions because they are all so different. Cut is of the upmost importance to me. I don't need the best of the best, but I would like a good value. I like to equate this purchase to handbags.. from say B. Makowsky, Marc Jacobs, and Chanel.. I'm Marc Jacobs. Sort of middle ground Lux.

ANYWAY.

Looking for something 1.5ct+ I have been looking at AVC from GOG which I love but the size/clarity/colors/price points just arnt lining up with whats in stock right now. The color/clarity/size is either to low or price is to high

I have been stalking blue nile, james allen, EGD, Brilliance.com. I'm lost.

Are there any diamonds on this list that would be worth looking into? They have some excellent prices.

I would call GOG (for non-branded cushion), ERD, and Perry Chen, give them your criteria, and ask them to help you find something. Sometimes they are able to come up with something that is beyond what they carry in their inventory.

I agree, the sources of these gorgeous antique style cushions are limited, so I would call the three vendors mogster recommended (GOG, ERD, and Perry Chen at Leon Mege) and see if they are expecting new stones in soon. You'll pretty much be wasting time calling those others because they don't carry what you're looking for.
