Looking for a 3 karat emerald cut loose diamond

Hi All,
I''m new to the forum and at the beginning of my search. I have a few questions to start...

1. How much should I expect to pay for a 3 karat emerald cut loose diamond?

2. What vendors would you suggest for best pricing and quality, as well as authenticity.

3. i''ve seen some on ebay for about 22k, is that reasonable, or would you even purchase one from a vendor on ebay considering that it''s authentic and all the necessary reports, etc.. .are included?

1.Using the pricescope my diamond search on the home page, a 3 carat emerald cut diamond (F-H color, VS1-VS2, depth and table 60-65) should run you 35k-50k.

2. Whiteflash, Good Old Gold, James Allen, Wink Jones are all reputable jewlers recommended here. (Everyone please add to this list b/c I know I forgot some).

3. I dont know of many people on here who would spend 22K on a diamond on ebay. Please do a search here for ebay experiences. There have been some real heartaches with people who have spent no where near that amount on ebay.

4. Take your time here and learn about what makes a beautiful diamond (CUT). Read the tutorials and ask questions. Everyone is very helpful.

5. Let us help you find a diamond. Give us you buget and any desired specifications and we can help you find the best diamond for your budget.
