Looking for 2 carat RB Halo Examples!

Hi Everyone!

I''m fairly new here, but let me tell you, it''s already becoming quite addictive! I''ve been lurking on the boards for a while to get inspiration/information for my engagement ring, and all of the resources have been so helpful.

We just ordered my 2.04 ctw G SI-1 RB in an ME29 Danhov Halo setting from James Allen a few days ago and I am (im)patiently waiting its arrival. But after all the deliberation, now I''m a little nervous that the 2 carat is going to look too big in a halo. Does anyone have pics of 2 carat halos for me to see as a reference point? I know there''s nothing I can do except wait and see if I like it, but it would be great if anyone had examples. And then I get to look at even more of all of your GORGEOUS rings anyways

Oh, and my finger size is 6 if anyone is wondering.

I dont have any pictures...but from what you are describing, I think the 2 carat halo would look FABULOUS!
Yes, it probably will seem big at first, but with a size 6, it''ll give some awesome finger coverage.

Rest assure, I think your ring will look awesome! Keep us posted!

ohhh I think it will look FABULOUS....I don''t think diamonds can never be too big (ok a 12ct on my finger would) but not a 2ct Halo!

I have a 1.77 ct round stone in a halo and LOVE IT..

I don''t have a 2ct in a halo I just have a 2ct BUT I really think your 2ct is gonna look KILLER in that particular setting. I''m gonna say you''ll swoon when you see and never look back. I often play with the idea of adding a halo to mine and then I can''t decide....

Mine is just shy of two carats (1.76 carats) in a cushion shape halo (pics in "the gallery"). I am a size 6.5, an think it is plenty big, but not overkill ! I say go for it..it''s gonna be spectacular!

I still have it. I would like to sell it to fund more diamonds tho..

If I don't I will put a sapphire in it I think..

eta: I changed the center stone and currently have a Van Craeynest set, check out the 'Show me your VC' if you want to see a pic. I am a serial resetter! I need help!
