Hi all,

As way of introduction, I''ve read Pricescope for years & haven''t actually ever posted. All of you wonderful ladies (& gents) helped tremendously when I chose the stone for my e-ring several years ago. But, now, I need--ok, want--some quality diamond studs. I''ve looked at Whiteflash, Brian Gavin, James Allen, GOG and others, but I''m not nearly as talented at researching as you PSers are. I''d like to score an ideal cut/H & A-type of diamond studs in (preferably) platinum 3-prong martini setting. I''d like to be over 1ctw but under 1.5ctw & stay in a budget of $2500-$3000. I''m willing to go down in color & clarity to make up for the difference in cut. Does anyone have suggestions for me as to where to look or whom to talk to? Also, I''m open to suggestions of what else I should be considering when I evaluate a potential pair of studs. Thanks a bunch in advance! I''m excited

These are a belated push-present for having three kids in three years, so I''m ready to spoil myself!

At the top of this screen click on PRICES.
Then select "Search by Cut".

Enter your specs and see if you can find two that match.

If you go to the WF site, you can do a search there for stones that fit what you''re looking for. Then once you find one, there is a button to click on which shows matching stones. That is what I did and found my ACAs the same day I started looking

(I suggest that site b/c they have all the info/asset images, etc., and have great prices. Good combo for any diamond shopper.)

How low in color are you willing to go? J? K?

Do they need to be H&A or are you willing to have non H&A diamonds that are great proportions?

Thanks for your responses! I really appreciate all of them!

Dreamer: Nope, H & A isn''t an absolute necessity. Just well cut. In my research to date, it seems most felt that cut could compensate for size. I think I''d like to stay at or above the I range. But, heck, if there''s a great deal out there to be had, then maybe I''d rethink that, too! If you have suggestions, please send ''em my way.

Thanks for the suggestion to search the "prices" tab & I didn''t realize WF had a button to match diamonds. See--I have so much still to learn! LOL.

Thanks again everyone! I want to make a smart purchase. Oh yeah, an upgrade policy would be nice, but it isn''t a deal-breaker.
