Hi,
I'm new to the board, so please be forgiving if I'm in the wrong thread, etc.
I hope you can give me some feedback on a potential purchase. I'm looking at a diamond on ebay. I like that it's GIA certified (2002), but I don't know enough about depth, table, girdle, etc to know if there's something I should be worried about. It's a diamond dealer (as opposed to an individual seller getting rid of a ring).
Princess cut
.55 carat, VS2, F
Polish and symmetry= good
Depth 71.6%
Table 78%
4.66x4.50x3.22mm
Girdle ETN to VTK
Culet none
$1,550
I obviously don't have a lot to spend, but I don't need anything "huge". I just want to know if I'm crazy for considering it. I have the auction number but don' t know if it's appropriate to post it here. Any feedback? I looked at one other one on ebay (hence, looking at 2) but their certification was from NGL, which I learned from PS might not be a good way to go, so I've eliminated that one from consideration.
Thank you!!!
