Hi all,

I recently got in contact with Chris at ERD to help me look for a cushion and these are the two he's shown me. What do you think?

-I'm a little worried by the ASET image on this one. The middle seems a bit dark. Think that's a big deal?

Here is the other one(very different than the 1st and maybe a liiiiiiittle out of my budget...but we'll see...):

-Do you think this is eye clean or do you think that inclusion will be visible.

Looking for a diamond is like a full time job. I appreciate your help.

Well, Chris is the one who will have to tell you how eyeclean the second stone is. But one stone is a modern cushion and one is an antique cushion so you kind of need to think about the style of stone and setting you are considering. Do you know what kind of setting she wants? Both stones are beautiful!

As far as the x-factor being dark in the middle, you will notice that as it turns it flashes white, which means the stone is not dead in the middle. I doubt seriously ERD would recommend a stone that was dead in the middle.

Personally I like the antique cushion...it faces up larger and it seems to have a higher crown, which makes for a nice stone. But you have to decide which style of cushion you like. The antique cushion brilliants are very popular now. I do not think you could go wrong with either stone.

Good luck

Hi, just saw Chris yesterday and looked at the F antique cushion in person. It looked beautiful...just out of my budget personally. It looked eye clean as I was sitting there but I did not scrutinize it as I knew I was not going to buy it... Good luck!

Oops...sorry it was the 1.4 ct F cushion I looked at... was beautiful.

I like the second stone. With respect to the setting you picked out I would skip the pave on the
profile of the ring. It will scratch up the wedding band.
