Well the FF wants a WG Solitaire, but I think I''ll upgrade to platinum. I might try and get some engraving (celtic or text) on it - but I''m not sure if thats possible.

IMO - platinum is better for erings...I use WG for my RHR''s and cocktail rings. I like the durability but to each his own.

And before other WG enthusiasts get on me for this...this is MY personal opinion only.

Me too - not a personal fan of the tone/patina of platinum. Many girls think due to current marketing that platinum is just "better", but its really just personal preference like anything else. (pls plat fans don''t throw stuff, just mho
