Can anyone help me find some gloves that come up longer on the forearm? I need them to come up a few more inches into say the middle of my forearm maybe vs just a couple inches past my hand. If that makes any sense. I can't seem to find any gloves that come long enough in the hand for me, the fingers are usually fine, but then the palm isn't or it doesn't go all the way into my coat sleeve.

I know, FWP.

Oh EXCELLENT. All are perfect. Thanks! I knew I was asking the right folks.

I am glad people helped you find what you needed, ame. What does "FWP" stand for? I just learned "KWIM" (I think that's right!). I thought this posting was going to be about evening gloves!

In context of original post, first world problem?

That would make sense! Thank you.

Thank you for asking, Deb! I've wondered too.

HAH! yes, First World Problems. My gloves aren't doing it for me, so I must have newer/better/faster/stronger.

 My brain isn't working.

I read your titel and thought you meant white opera length gloves for white tie occasions

Then I read your post and thought you were asking about latex medical gloves

So with gift cards and Nordstrom Notes I splurged on these in the tan shade (I was going go get black but I read in reviews elsewhere that they stain hands!)

and these in Navy:

The Uggs I am already having palpitations over, so unless I think they'll be waterproof and really are long and warm enough I might return them. $160. For GLOVES.

This is so funny, ame! I have these gloves! Not the exact pair, because I have last year's style. (I think. I might have the style sold two years ago.) Mine have no ridges on the top of the hand and no logo buttons. When you said, "Ugg" I clicked on the link (which I would have done anyway, since I have been following this thread) and then went to see if my gloves were in the house or my Jeep! Luckily they were in the house. It was 25 degrees last night and I am still in my pajamas; I wouldn't have wanted to make a trip to the Jeep just to check the gloves.

Mine are the tan color. I never really considered them "long gloves". I remember that when I initially saw them the price tag looked huge, but until I saw your posting I forgot all about what I had paid. They are simply the best gloves! (In my opinion, of course.) They are super durable and become even more comfortable over time!

The gloves I bought are slightly different from yours, ame. I did a glove review of Ugg's entire inventory. These are mine. This website even has a video of each pair of gloves! Mine are lined with shearling. Some of the gloves are lined with cashmere.

I THINK the ones I got are Shearling as well. I don't particularly find Cashmere "all that" so we'll see how I feel about this. I don't wear rings with gloves (not usually even plain bec the digging is annoying) so I don't thing the snagging is an issue. I am having pangs of regret so hopefully I love them so much I don't care!

Both gloves arrived.

This pair I probably will keep. I need to try them on with my coat and make sure they're long enough. They seem warm and hopefully suede would stay waterproofish right? I got large and they fit great. I really do have large hands apparently.

These need to go back though:

They're the greatest lenght for my arms...but the hand part is like...for a tiny human. I have long man hands apparently and "one size" is laughable. I could barely get my hands in there. And my fingers were like half in the palm area.

I'm glad the Uggs worked for you, ame. I'm sure they'll be warm and comfortable. I have small hands-I wear a size 6 glove-and could probably wear the style you are returning...but why take second best?

I really liked the navy ones, but I don't want to just stretch them out or settle. When I took them back tonight the girl was talking about how those Uggs FLY OUT of there. She said they are more than she would spend for gloves normally (and like 10x what I would ever pay for gloves!) but she got them last year and hers are still brand new looking. She told me to make sure I treat them before I wear them out so Ill dig my Ugg stuff out and do that. They had two pair of the camel ones in this store but neither were in my size so I am glad I ordered.
