A good friend is getting married next month, and I found a dress I love for her wedding. It''s long, and accentuates what I love about my body and hides what I hate. However, I was told that it''s rude to wear a long dress to a wedding, as the bride should be the only person in a long dress. Is this true? The last thing I want to do is show my friend disrespect in ANY way, and will happily find a shorter dress if this is the case. I just
my dress and want to keep it if possible.
It''s a fun print (it kind of reminds me of a peacock, but with fewer colours), long, halter dress. Is it totally inappropriate to wear to my friend''s wedding? Her wedding is indoors, somewhere between casual and formal (the invitation didn''t specify, but neither my friend nor her FI like big, formal affairs), and in the afternoon (ceremony at 12:30, reception at 2:30).
