Yes, inside the band. So this isn''t a drawback for anyone? A friend of mine recently got engaged and so I checked with him and he said "There is most definitely not anything stamped on the ring. I would not be okay with that. I’d be very very surprised if they do that though. I’m surprised I never saw anyone complain about that on pricescope. Seems like something that would bother more people. That’s annoying, and I’m sure frustrating for you." So this raised a major red flag for me and thought I would bring it to you all since you know far more than I do.Date: 8/6/2009 12:59:52 PM

Do you mean inside the band? Most rings have a hallmark stamped inside them, from the designer, as well as what kind of metal they are.
My ering has Scott Kay, PD950 and the other has the Whiteflash logo and PD950 inside it.
Doesn't bother me at all. It doesn't harm the structural integrity of the ring, I can't feel it, I can't see it unless I look, and it guarantees that my rings are from the companies they are supposed to be from, and made from the metal they are supposed to be.Date: 8/6/2009 1:06:16 PM

I'm confused. If you consider it reputable enough to buy the ring from in the first place, why would the stamp bother you?Date: 8/6/2009 1:18:07 PM

Well that's good to hear. I guess my concern, then, is if BN is a reputable enough company for me to be proud of a ring from them that I give to my future fiancee to wear for the rest of her life with their name inside?

I wouldn''t hesitate to wear something from Blue Nile. In fact, my wedding necklace was from them.
