Hi all!
I am starting a business and am wanting to design a logo ASAP - I really like the antique/vintage look of Heritage Type Co. that I see advertised on Facebook. I know exactly what I want but I need guidance and they just sell their font bundle. When anyone asks a question they say things like - this works with such and such program (that I don't have). I have no knowledge base here and don't want to learn about it honestly, I've got enough going on. So my question would be is there a graphic designer out there who either already has this font bundle or is willing to buy it and hold my hand thru the process and what would the fees be for this kind of project. I want my logo to be able to be printed on gift bags, different sizes of boxes for products, tissue paper and ribbon, stickers, to use on letterhead, business cards, print coffee mugs, etc. I would prefer someone who has a really large knowledge base on this subject and it would be a bonus if they could suggest places to get the end products mentioned that I am wanting for my business. I don't want to break any rules for putting out personal information so my contact information can be found on Loupe Troop under the user name VatHJ - my email is at the bottom of all my listings.
Thanks so much!
Vanessa

Hi - I'm a professional photographer and designer, in addition to the pearls I work with though the graphic designer part was awhile ago. :)

You'll want to get in touch with the folks who have the commercial rights to actual fonts you might be considering - if you use a font for commercial purposes when you didn't buy the license to do so, that's not a situation you want. This is why most logos are drawn or ultimately very generic or thirdly a variation of a font - font licensing can be a PITA.

Finally as for getting products, would suggest somewhere local at first because this allows you to touch and feel the final product. Local relationships are invaluable too, even if there's some price premium.
