Local Jeweler in Simi Valley Ca

Has anybody dealt with Athena & Co Jewelers in Simi Valley Ca? They carry Scott Kays however are not listed on the SK website and they do all of their own sizing and setting in store. My setting was beautiful until he sized it....

Can palladium turn dark grey and lose its luster? I''ve only had the ring for three weeks and the band is not shiny at all and has noticeable scratches. Something is not right.

UPDATE: I spoke to Scott Kay...they said he is an authorized retailer, it was a mistake that his name was not listed on the website.

However, regardless if he''s a Scott Kay retailer or not...I would use extreme caution if you live in the Simi Valley area and decide to purchase anything from him. He messed up both of my rings...one was the brand new SK engagement ring and the other one was a Ben Bridge band with diamonds across the top. I ended up having him give me a new setting out of the display and my loose stone. Ben Bridge is now sending it to their jeweler to size and set.

Have to wait about two weeks to get the ring back....I don''t want to get my hopes up though. Anxious to see what the finished product will look like!
