links to firescope or idealscope pics?

I am looking for any firescope or idealscope pictures for heart shape diamonds. I don''t think goodoldgold.com carries heart shape, and dirtcheapdiamonds.com seemed to only have pics of round diamonds. Trying to get more info about heart shape and hope some pics may show if the heart shapes have potential for a little nice sparkle and fire if they are very well cut.

If you work with a Vendor to source your diamond for you, they can get you any and all information you may want prior to shipment. You may wind up paying the shipping fee for a diamond or 2 before the Vendor finds THE one for you, but you will have all the information in advance.

I would recommend you surf the websites and review the policies of the different Vendors. Call and chat with a few to find one you are comfortable working with. Then let the Vendor work for you.

This is a reasonable computer modelled heart.

You will note there is very little black compared to a round. The black makes the diamond have scintillation - but the leakage can also help with scintillation. - So what you want is a diamond with the most red and the leakage (or darkness) evenly spread around the stone - not in 2 or 3 places.

Thanks for the pic Cut Nut, is there a site where I could see more? It looks like in that pic that the best light return is where prongs are put (at least in the few settings I have looked at).

Is it difficult to set heart shape diamonds without covering up the areas that tend to give the best light return? It would be nice to compare where the best light return is on a variety of heart shape diamonds.
