My diamond is currently being set by Mark Morrell and I''m thinking of getting the Flame with the accent diamonds.

Just wondering, what''s the likelihood of those diamonds falling out after a few years of normal wear?

Also would they be ultrasonic safe? Any opinions or actual experience with similar settings?

Mark is the best person to ask about the ultrasonic. It might insult him to ask if his stones would fall out, though!

Do you know how many mm wide the Flame band is, by chance? It really is a beautiful ring!

Even if they do fall out, it won''t be very expensive to replace them. Small sidestones are not very expensive.

I agree! You should ask Mark.

I would expect that the quality of a MM is very high so the likely hood of a stone just falling out would be very low. as for the ultrasonic, definitely ask Mark.

Thanks

I''m just concerned that if one does fall out, I''d need to go to a local jeweler. The jeweler might need to use a blowtorch to weaken the prongs and reset the sidestones that way, thereby slightly but permanently deforming the shape of the crown head as a result.

I guess I''m just very skeptical that I think my local jewelers probably can''t reset a sidestone without deforming the ring slightly.
